Because creatine ethyl ester is much better absorbed by the body, it is required in lower dosages than creatine monohydrate. Additionally, because less creatine ethyl ester is required to achieve similar or better results than creatine monohydrate there are less digestive problems such as bloating and less water retention outside the muscle cells.
